Procter & Gamble’s Design Department came to us to create fresh collateral for their 2006 year-end conference that would function as a series of promotional devices for the workshops therein.

Design something new and unique while staying within P&G design equity consisting of circles. Inspired with the idea of shining new light on something familiar by thinking through the circle instead of inside it or outside, we developed a concept that “through these circles light can cast new perspectives” and bend the rules. This approach allowed us to stay within brand parameters and expand the communication of breakthrough thinking with more dimension.

Applying this to P&G Design’s Strategy Innovation Workshop we constructed 3D tabletops with one acetate side of diecut circles passing light through for another interaction with a similar texture printed on the interior – sharing the theme of its accompanying collateral.

Combining this concept with that of Clay Street’s wayfinding and our branding of its core dialogue “The Art of Coming Together as One,” we carried the texture of this new theme to a pocket guide folding out into a concise map of information as well as a deck of role-playing cards communicating human potential and group dynamics.
